The Kansas City Chiefs won games with special teams this year and their special teams coach Dave Toub got two head coaching interviews so it’s not a surprise to see multiple Chiefs listed on the Pro Football Focus list of the best special teamers in the NFL.

PFF divided this up with punt team, punt return team, kickoff team, kickoff return team and field goals and extra points. The Chiefs showed up all but kickoff return and field goals and extra points.

Special teams are clearly important in Kansas City (they have to be if they want to win) and that extends to the draft. Of the five players listed here, four were draft picks and the other was an undrafted free agent (Sorensen).

Check out PFF for explanations of each.
