Kansas City Chiefs will roll over about $5 million in salary cap space

The Kansas City Chiefs will have about $5 million in extra salary cap space for the 2017 season. The NFLPA released the amount of cap space each team will roll over from 2016.

For the Chiefs, that number is $5,002,168.

The average is over $9 million so this is actually on the low end. $5 million is still something. That buys you a Dustin Colquitt or a Ron Parker.

That’s nothing compared to the Browns, who have $50 million in rollover cap space. $50 million! The Titans aren’t far behind with $39 million.

(No, I don’t know yet how much cap space the Chiefs will have next year nor exactly how much the cap will be. Soon)
