Tamba Hali doesn't plan on retiring, report says

Tamba Hali signed a new three deal before the season. He wants to make it to year two of that deal. Terez Paylor is reporting Tamba intends on playing next year.

I'm not that surprised considering he just signed that new deal before the season but he had clearly taken a step back this year. Some of that was due to the pass rushers on the team and some of it was Tamba’s age (33). He didn't come back from his knee surgery the way he did two years ago. He became a part time player this year and his production dropped.

Many of you will raise an eyebrow at his contract. He has a cap hit over $8 million next year. There is dead money too so I'm not sure the Chiefs can do much about that number. Tamba is an all time Chief so this is a sensitive situation even if they did want to do anything with it.
