The Kansas City Chiefs activated LB Justin March from injured reserve just a couple of days before the new year but he didn’t play in the Chiefs season finale against the Chargers.
With a few more weeks of practice under his belt, will he start in the Chiefs playoff game against the Steelers?
“We’ll see, we’ll see how that works,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Monday. “He’s had a couple good weeks of practice. We’ll just see how he does there.”
Terrance Smith has been in that role the past two weeks. That’s a big stage for an undrafted rookie and it showed at times. March doesn’t have a ton of experience either - five career starts - but it’s more than Smith and the Chiefs need all the help they can get there after losing multiple starters this year.
The run defense will be big against the Steelers and Le’Veon Bell. Those inside linebackers will be a key part of this game.
