Tamba Hali did not practice for the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday but I don’t think we should be freaking out. The Chiefs say that Tamba missed practice for personal reasons. While it would be better if he did practice, Tamba has been on a pitch count all offseason anyway and probably doesn’t need the practice like everyone else.
Meanwhile, Jamaal Charles was a limited participant in practice for the second straight day. Andy Reid said earlier that he didn’t think Jamaal would be able to play but we’re awaiting official word, which should come down later today.
The Chiefs on Friday will have to declare some of these guys in or out. We think everyone on the 53-man roster should be good to go - except Jamaal. The question is whether the Chiefs will call him questionable and wait it out this weekend or go ahead and call him doubtful or rule him out.
