We knew of one change to the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad earlier this morning. Turns out there were a few changes.
The Chiefs announced the following practice squad changes:
Signed: Jordan Devey, Terrance Mitchell, Julian Wilson and Ramik Wilson
Released: Tyrell Adams, Daniel Munyer, Shak Randolph and Brock Vereen
Ramik Wilson is the highlight here. He was cut by the Chiefs after they claimed Sam Barrington off waivers. The Chiefs will keep Wilson around after all. I thought he was done in Kansas City.
Jordan Devey is another one to keep an eye on. He has some NFL experience so if the Chiefs need a guard during the season because of injury or something then I think Devey could get a look.
I’m a little surprised by some of these other moves as I thought the Chiefs liked Adams and Munyer enough to hang onto them. Munyer was the Chiefs backup center when Mitch Morse went down before the playoffs last year.
So here’s what the practice squad looks like now:
LB Ramik Wilson
CB Julian Wilson
G Jordan Devey
CB Terrance Mitchell
WR Frankie Hammond
WR Seantavious Jones
DL David King
G Jarrod Pughsley
RB Darrin Reaves
LB Terrance Smith
