The Kansas City Chiefs have ruled two players out of Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers but neither of those players is named Jamaal Charles. The Chiefs say that Jamaal Charles is questionable for the first time this season. He had been doubtful in the first three weeks of the season.
UPDATE: Adam Schefter says Jamaal will play
OT Jah Reid and RB Charcandrick West have been ruled out of the game. West had over 100 yards against this team last year so that’s notable. With West out, would the Chiefs play Jamaal? If not then you’re looking at Knile Davis as a backup to Spencer Ware or the Chiefs calling someone one up from the practice squad like Darrin Reaves.
Meanwhile, CB Phillip Gaines and LB Tamba Hali join him Jamaal questionable for the game. Losing either would be a big deal - Tamba is your best pass rusher and Gaines is one of your starting corners. The Chiefs are obviously hoping they’ll have both.
