Some interesting news here that is no longer news after the Sam Bradford trade. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says before they traded for Bradford the Vikings called the Chiefs to ask about Nick Foles.
#Vikings called the #Chiefs about Nick Foles, had eyes on some #Ravens backups. Found a Sam Bradford deal much more to their liking

I mean, I guess you’d expect them to do that, right? It’s worth at least a phone call. The Chiefs could’ve just said no and hung up the phone. Or maybe they talked? I wrote earlier that unless it was significant compensation I wouldn’t entertain trading Foles because he can win a few games if he has to. The Chiefs think they’ll be pretty good this year so a couple games could be the difference between a playoff run. Of course if it was a first and fourth round pick like Bradford then hell yeah, make the trade. I doubt it was though because NFL teams still have a weird fascination with Sam Bradford, who does not win enough games.
