We have a stunner! The Philadelphia Eagles are trading QB Sam Bradford to the Minnesota Vikings, who just lost QB Teddy Bridgewater to a season-ending injury.
Minnesota Vikings are trading for Eagles' QB Sam Bradford, league sources tell ESPN.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) September 3, 2016
Schefter reports significant compensation, perhaps as high as a first round pick. Wow.
This probably means that Aaron Murray, who was just cut from the Chiefs, won’t be going there. It also means the Chiefs won’t be trading Tyler Bray there. We had wondered about both of those (remote) possibilities.
Also in Philly this means Chase Daniel has a real shot to start. That’s awesome. He deserves it.
