The Ringer’s Kevin Clark has the best and most unique stories. It’s incredible, really. I always wish I had thought of the story angle that he comes out with (undoubtedly better than I could’ve done it).
Clark wrote a story about Alex Smith and his Netflix suggestions and this important fact was revealed: The Wire is Alex’s favorite TV show.
Indeed, The Wire is the greatest show in history. The story telling in The Wire is so authentic. You can tell creator David Simon spent a lot of time getting it right. One of the keys to The Wire I think is that it’s very re-watchable. I’ve watched it a couple of times and this story has me thinking I’ll start re-watching it again.
