Marcus Peters does his thing against the Jets ... again

UPDATE: HE GOT ANOTHER. TWO FOR THE DAY.

For the third time this season and the 12th time since he came into the league, Marcus Peters has picked off a pass. He did so against in the first quarter the New York Jets on Sunday.

It was a big play because all turnovers are big plays. The Chiefs sent pressure and the Jets line did a pretty good job for Ryan Fitzpatrick, who fired the ball off only to have Peters jump up and get it instead. Terrific ball skills from Peters. He’s just incredible with his hands. I haven’t seen anything like it.

The Chiefs took it down and scored a touchdown off the turnover. This is his third interception of the season. He had 10 interceptions in the regular season last year, including one in the playoffs.

How ridiculous is the run he’s on? Here’s how long it took him to get to 10 regular season picks compared to other greats in history (via the Chiefs):
