The New York Jets are expected to have WR Brandon Marshall active for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. However, his snaps will be limited due to a knee injury suffered last week against the Jets.
Even though Jets WR Brandon Marshall expected to be active today, he likely will be on snap count due to foot/knee injury. Weather also bad.

Two things working in the Chiefs favor are that it’s early in the season so the Jets have less incentive to push Marshall out there when he’s hurt. The other is that it’s expected to be raining before and perhaps during today’s game which will make the footing even more uncertain for someone with a bum knee.
I love Marshall as a player and wish he were 100 percent but this is very good news for the Chiefs. That Marshall isn’t going to torment them all game - only part of the game - has me feeling better about their pass defense.
That Marshall won’t be in on every play doesn’t eliminate the threat, however. Over the last 16 games Eric Decker is nearly as productive as Marshall and the Jets are excited about Quincy Enunwa.
