Mitch Mathews was a notable undrafted free agent signing this year for the Kansas City Chiefs because of his connections to Andy Reid’s favorite school (BYU) and the fact that he was a 6’6 receiver. Unfortunately, Mathews didn’t do enough with the Chiefs and was cut from the roster.
Though it was said he was headed to the practice squad, he never ended up there. Mathews has been on the market since then with various workkouts, including one this week with the Browns where, if signed, he would join former Chiefs QB Kevin Hogan.
The Cleveland Browns are bringing Mitch Mathews (WR, BYU) in for a visit/workout tomorrow. Spent this preseason with the Kansas City Chiefs.

He also previously worked out for the Patriots after his release from the Chiefs.
