New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles spoke to the New York media on Wednesday and was asked about KC Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters, who leads the NFL with two interceptions this season.
Bowles on CB Marcus Peters: Great corner. I loved him coming out. If you throw at him enough, he'll make you pay.

This shouldn’t be too much of a surprise because A) Peters will indeed make you pay and B) Bowles has some Andy Reid experience. When Andy Reid fired Juan Castillo as the Eagles defensive coordinator in 2012, it was Bowles who replaced him as the interim defensive coordinator. He then went to Arizona after the staff shakeup in Philly before heading to the Jets in 2015.
The Jets had no shot at drafting Peters because they used their sixth overall pick on defensive lineman Leonard Williams.
