The Kansas City Chiefs added a few names to the injury report after Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans. First things first, Jamaal Charles. Is this the week? Here’s what Andy Reid said:
“Improving by the day,” Reid said. “We’ll keep him going here and see how he does. He’s chomping at the bit to play which I love about him. I just want to make sure we’re good when the time comes.”
Adam Schefter reported this would be the week but Reid hasn’t committed to that yet.
The others on the injury report:
Sam Barrington, Parker Ehinger and Jah Reid will not practice. Reid is dealing with an ankle injury.
The good news is that Laurent Duvernay-Tardif will try to practice. If Jah Reid is out, it’s good then that LDT has a shot at returning.
The Chiefs said that Eric Berry has some swelling in his knee but will practice. Gotta consider this good news if he’s practicing this early in the week.
Tamba Hali won’t practice but this is normal for him.
