Cooper signed with the Chiefs as a waiver wire pick-up in 2013 and became a nice find for general manager John Dorsey during his rookie season. As Dorsey continued to stock the position, however, Cooper lost his place on the roster, especially this last offseason which say Dorsey overhaul the secondary through the draft.
Cooper played in 38 games, making 11 starts, in his Chiefs career.
