The Kansas City Chiefs roster cuts continue. We just heard of Aaron Murray’s release and now Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest is reporting that Andy Mulumba is on his way out too.
The #Chiefs have released OLB Andy Mulumba, per a source. Mulumba started last night, close to a couple of sacks. Name to keep an eye on.

Dadi Nicolas coming in over him on Thursday night was a hint this could happen.
Mulumba came from the Packers this offseason. We thought he had a shot to make the roster - plenty of folks included him in their 53-man roster predictions - with Justin Houston out. Clearly, that’s not the case. I don’t believe he has practice squad eligibility left.
This could mean good news for Dezman Moses, who was on the bubble but appears likely to make with Mulumba out. It could also recognize the strong preseason that Dadi Nicolas has had.
