Justin Houston is on the PUP list which means he’s out through at least Week 6. The Kansas City Chiefs believe he will return sometime in November which would include Week 9-12. This is according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter who says the Chiefs are “projecting” Houston to return in November.

That would be around half or a little more than half the season. The pass rush is the biggest concern for those who follow the Chiefs. The ideal scenario here is the Chiefs maintain without Houston and they’re able to get him back and help them in the stretch run.
In the meantime, the Chiefs are relying on Tamba Hali and Dee Ford to handle the pass rush along with Dadi Nicolas and Frank Zombo. The Chiefs cut Dezman Moses before this game although he could still figure in the plans down the road.
