The Kansas City Chiefs reportedly signed Nick Foles overnight so we don’t have as many reactions as we normally do because everyone was asleep (including me).
We collected the reactions from those of you who were awake last night.
Here is Terez Paylor’s reaction and Adam Teicher’s here. Teicher likes the signing and makes some good points in his post.
More below....
IMO Foles provides the reliable & seasoned backup you need to push Alex but also can win you games if he gets hurt.

Love the signing of foles. Not sure if Chiefs Twitter agrees but this has been a proven QB in andys system before. Great sign IMO

Heck yeah, the @Chiefs got Nick Foles!!! That's the QB I wanted to trade for in 2013 instead of Alex. Now they have both!

For #Chiefs, this was a no-brainer provided they could make the $ work. Foles is a quality backup. Can't see any hate for this one.

Chiefs agree to terms with QB Nick Foles.

Foles had a 30.0 Total QBR last season, worst in the NFL
He was 1-5 under Andy Reid in 2012
Not a Foles fan (as a starter for sure), but certainly makes sense for Andy Reid & #Chiefs …although, Fisher & Foles get $$$ & Berry doesn’t

I'm told it's a 2 year deal for Foles with the Chiefs. Nice pickup for Andy & KC
— John Middlekauff (@JohnMiddlekauff) August 4, 2016
Without Kellen Moore or Nick Foles - who opted for KC - Tony Romo is only healthy QB on Dallas roster with even 1 career NFL pass attempt.

Listening to Stephen Jones' Wednesday comments on Nick Foles, the message seemed to be they're targeting someone under contract elsewhere.
