The Kansas City Chiefs inside linebacker position battle is definitely on. The Chiefs announced that Josh Mauga is out for the year after dealing with an injury over the past few weeks.

It’s a labral tear in his hip.
Justin March has been ahead of Ramik Wilson at inside linebacker recently so I would think that position is his until something changes. March is a second-year undrafted free agent so that would be a great story if he ended up starting. The Chiefs could also elect to bring a veteran in because while we’re hopeful of the young guys like March, Wilson and DJ Alexander, they’re still just that - young.
The Chiefs have just a few more cuts to make to get down to 75 players by 3 p.m. (Arrowhead Time). They’ll be down to 53 players on Saturday.
