These Chiefs won’t play vs. Rams

The Kansas City Chiefs will be without a number of key players for tonight’s preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams. As expected, Jamaal Charles, Justin Houston, Tamba Hali and Eric Berry will not play.

The Chiefs have also ruled Phillip Gaines out as he continued to come back from ACL surgery last season.

The Chiefs say that Tyler Bray will not play either. This was expected since he hasn’t practiced after the news of his injury came out. The Chiefs say he’ll eventually be fine.

Also out is Charcandrick West, Dezman Moses, Rakeem Nunez-Roches and Josh Mauga.

It’s just a preseason game so it’s fine if these players miss. In some cases it’s more than fine because it gives the Chiefs a chance to look at some of the younger players behind them.
