The Kansas City Chiefs are deep at a number of positions. The defensive line can go four or five deep with very strong NFL players. The receivers aren’t elite but they are deeper. Quarterback, obviously.
Then there’s the Chiefs inside linebackers, which is one of the stronger position groups. I mention the inside linebackers because of this rumor:
Several teams calling around looking for TEs. Eagles have been trying to find an inside LB via trade. Things will intensify in few weeks

Eagles coach Doug Pederson was in Kansas City the past three years so he has an idea of what the Chiefs have. And here’s what they have:
Derrick Johnson: No shot he’s on the market. I would be very angry if he were.
Josh Mauga: A veteran who has been nicked up in camp and can provide much needed salary cap relief. He might be worth a late round pick if you need someone to play.
Ramik Wilson: Former fourth round pick. He’s been with the first team since Mauga has been dinged up. Solid, if not unspectacular player (actually sounds a lot like an inside linebacker).
Justin March: He is probably worth more to the Chiefs than to someone else. He hasn’t played so he has little to no trade value but does have potential the Chiefs really like.
DJ Alexander: Draft pick last year who was solid on special teams. He has seen some second team work.
Frank Zombo: Can play inside or out. Strong on special teams too. Probably little trade value.
Outside of DJ, none of these players are bringing in a high draft pick but if the Eagles are looking for one then Kansas City is the place to look. This is one of the best position groups for the Chiefs.
