Will Jamaal Charles be full go at Chiefs training camp? ‘We’ll see,’ Andy Reid says

Jamaal Charles tore his ACL in October but it slated to participate in Kansas City Chiefs training camp. Chiefs coach Andy Reid couldn’t tell us on Tuesday if Jamaal would be a full-go at practice or not.

“We’ll see,” Reid said. “He’s gonna meet with the docs and we’ll see how that all goes. Even if he is full go and I mean I would kinda monitor that as we go.”

Jamaal could be 100 percent healthy but there his no reason for the Chiefs to rush him or push him. This is Jamaal’s ninth year in the league and his fourth in Andy Reid’s offense. Does that guy need that extra rep in camp? Probably not.

Jamaal indicated in a blog post recently that he has been rehabbing hard this offseason. He talked about the mental toughness being as important as the actual rehab. Like I said, nine years in the league. I will trust that he knows his body and he will have himself ready on September 11.

That said ... Jamaal, please, let someone else carry your bags out of the dorm. There will be a line of Chiefs fans willing to do it for you.
