Madden 17 has been releasing their ratings for the players in this year’s game. If you use the Kansas City Chiefs, you want to know where Jamaal Charles ranks because he’s probably central to your game plan (just me?).
Jamaal is the fourth highest rated back in Madden 17 behind Le’Veon Bell, Adrian Peters and Doug Martin.

The name that surprises me here is Doug Martin. He isn’t the usual name at the top of this list but he did have a monster 1,400 yard season last year. He had fewer than 500 yards in each of the two seasons prior to that so I’m not sure what the chances are of him repeating that.
As for Jamaal behind Bell and AP? I’m on board with that. Jamaal is older than Bell and AP is a better overall player.
Speaking of AP, he’s 31 years old and coming off a 1,400 yard season himself. I don’t hear many folks talking about when he’s going to break down. Here’s to hoping Jamaal is in a similar place in a couple years.
