Len Dawson has been calling the Kansas City Chiefs game for the Chiefs Radio Network for over 30 years. In 2016, his duties will be cut in half.
It’s been announced that Dawson will call only the Chiefs 10 home games - eight in the regular season and two preseason.
“I’ve been traveling on Sundays for over 60 years as a player and a broadcaster,” Lenny told KMBC. “It takes its toll. Now, I have the opportunity to do what I love and work the games without the travel,” Dawson said in a news release.
Sideline reporter Kendall Gammon will take his spot on the road.

Lenny is 81 years old so I was wondering when something like this would happen.
