Alex Smith speaking at Republican National Convention ... no, not that Alex Smith

The list of speakers for the Republican National Convention is out and Alex Smith’s name is on it.

I saw a bunch of folks on Twitter asking, “Is that Alex Smith from the Chiefs?!”

No, it is not. That’s Alex Smith from the College Republican National Committee, not Alex Smith from the Chiefs. If it was our Alex, I would have been forced to stop going on social media as I try my best to keep my sports and politics separate (although sports are politics).
