Chiefs RB: 'Not a soul on this planet is worried about Jamaal being ready'

Jamaal Charles was spotted at Kansas City Chiefs practice recently but he wasn't working out with the rest of the team. Jamaal continues to recover from an ACL injury but it's expected he'll be ready to roll for training camp.

One thing is certain, when he does come back he will be ready.

"I don’t think a soul on this planet is worried about Jamaal being ready for football," Charcandrick West said via quotes from the Chiefs. "We all know what he’s capable of doing.”

There's some concern because of the circumstances, mainly that it's his second ACL tear and he's 29 years old. Even with that, I feel pretty good that Jamaal is going to come back and look good. The Chiefs have the fallback of West and Spencer Ware who along with Jamaal combine to make (arguably) the best backfield in the NFL.

"I’ll leave all the ratings and all that to you guys, but I know what we can control," Ware said. "And how we are, we’re going to go out there and we’re going to battle, we’re going to make big plays and we’re going to try to win games.”

Emphasis on we, not just Jamaal. The Chiefs have a complete backfield.
