The Chiefs 2003 comeback over the Packers was so insane

Note: Looks like the embed isn’t working so head to YouTube to watch this.

Remember the Kansas City Chiefs 2003 comeback over the Green Bay Packers? It came during the Chiefs ridiculous stretch of wins to start the 2003 season (9-0) and it was one of the nuttiest wins of that stretch.

The Chiefs were down 31-14 in the fourth quarter. The craziest part? This came at Lambeau Field.

The Chiefs got on the board with a Priest Holmes touchdown early in the fourth quarter to make it 31-21.

Chiefs safety Jerome Woods then took a tipped Brett Favre pass back to the house to make it 31-28.

The Chiefs added another field goal to tie it up at 31. The two teams exchanged field goals in the final three minutes to send it to overtime tied up at 34.

That’s when Trent Green ended the game with a 51-yard strike to Eddie Kennison.

The highlights above are awesome. They show all the big plays in that game. I had forgotten about the Jerome Woods interception and the fortunate turnovers the Chiefs forced in that game.

What a crazy comeback.
