It sounds like Tyler Bray has been getting most of the No. 2 quarterback reps so far this offseason. ESPN’s Adam Teicher reports that Bray was re-installed as the Chiefs No. 2 quarterback late last week after Aaron Murray had a brief stint.
Bray opened the offseason as the No. 2 quarterback which was a little surprising. He has been in the offense a year longer than Aaron Murray but he has also ended the past two seasons on IR. I was surprised just because it seemed like forever since we’d said anything about Bray.
The Chiefs first reps go to Alex Smith, obviously. Tyler Bray has reportedly been getting the lion’s share of the No. 2 reps with Aaron Murray behind them. And then Andy Reid has mentioned before that Kevin Hogan simply doesn't get as many reps as the other quarterbacks.
I’m still curious to see how the Chiefs are going to handle these quarterbacks. Is it Bray or Murray? Does Hogan go on the practice squad? Could they keep four somehow?
