Chiefs 2016 preseason schedule: Seahawks, Rams, Bears, Packers

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced their 2016 preseason schedule. Dates for the preseason games will follow but the Chiefs do not have any national TV preseason games this year. The regular season schedule will be announced later in April. Find the full NFL preseason schedule here.

Chiefs 2016 preseason schedule

Week 1: Seattle Seahawks (Aug. 11-15)

Week 2: at Los Angeles Rams (Aug. 18-22)

Week 3: at Chicago Bears (Aug. 25-28)

Week 4: Green Bay Packers (Sept. 1-2)

The Chiefs played the Rams last year (and the Seahawks) but this year they'll be doing so in Los Angeles, which will be interesting. I guess this is no longer the Governor's Cup, huh? LONG LIVE THE CHIEFS AS GOVERNOR'S CUP CHAMPIONS! The game will be played at the Coliseum.

The Bears are another good opponent because they were the last time to beat the Chiefs before the big win streak last season. And the Chiefs are now back to playing the Packers in the preseason finale as they had before 2015. The Royals, who share a parking lot with the Chiefs, are off September 1 but play September 2 so it's a good bet that the Chiefs final preseason game will be on the 1st.
