2016 NFL mock draft: San Diego Chargers get the best corner in the draft

With the third pick in the 2016 Arrowhead Pride mock draft, Chargers GM Misch selects...

Florida State CB Jalen Ramsey

The Chargers have a lot of offensive holes to fill. Last year's first round pick RB Melvin Gordon looked like every other Wisconsin RB, all hype, no production. The offensive line was terrible. RT Joe Barksdale was resigned and OT Chris Hairston was brought in but little else was done to address the issue. TE Antonio Gates inked another contract but valuable backup Ladarius Green bolted to be a starter in Pittsburgh. The signing of WR Travis Benjamin away from Cleveland was a nice get and with Keenan Allen, Ole Miss's Laquon Treadwell, would make QB Phillip Rivers cry with joy.

The biggest loss suffered though was on the other side of the ball. SF Eric Weddle was a playmaker and his play will be missed. The only way to replace a playmaker is with a playmaker. With CBs Jason Verrett and Brandon Flowers locking down the outside, this guy would be free to roam the middle and create utter havoc.

The Chargers select Jalen Ramsey, CB, Florida State.

1. Titans - OT Laremy Tunsil

2. Browns - OT Ronnie Stanley

3. Chargers - CB Jalen Ramsey
