KC Chiefs GM John Dorsey's post-draft press conference included questions mostly on the selection of former Oklahoma State RB / WR Tyreek Hill.
Why Hill? Probably because of a domestic violence incident he was part of. It's an ugly, ugly incident and it has a lot of Chiefs fans upset that they drafted him. The response has been a mix of anger and a mix of hope that he is turning it around.
Chiefs fans understandbly want to know why a player like this is draftable, which is a good question after you read about his domestic violence incident. The NFL's response to domestic violence in recent years makes this pick very questionable, especially in Kansas City, of all places, where the Jovan Belcher murder-suicide went down.
The Chiefs say they've done their work on Hill. Andy Reid and his wife have been involved with organizations that do work with domestic violence victims. John Dorsey said he has kids and he's done the work on Hill. He's comfortable with the decision.
The Chiefs knew they were going to take heat for this. That's why Reid and Dorsey came out and spoke to the media. Is it worth it?
Tyreek Hill plead guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation in an incident with his pregnant girlfriend. Ok.

It's not wrong to hope Tyreek Hill does well. Made a (very large) mistake. Hope he learned from it.

Very curious to hear the #Chiefs explanation for that Tyreek Hill pick...

WTH Dorsey? Why would you draft someone like Tyreek Hill? So much for character. #Chiefs #mistake #characterflaw

As a father of two daughters, this pick of Tyreek Hill by my #Chiefs makes me uncomfortable to say the least

Disappointed in the @Chiefs for drafting Tyreek Hill.

The whole Tyreek Hill pick just doesn't make sense. You just created SO many more questions that you did provide solutions for a draft pick.

The fact that the Chiefs preached "drafting character" before all this Tyreek Hill garbage is gross. I'm done with them.

The fact that the Chiefs had the gall to draft Tyreek Hill less than four years removed from the Belcher murder shows their true stripes
