Sam Bradford wants the Philadelphia Eagles to trade him, which could open the door for our old pal Chase Daniel to start in Philly. At least until the Eagles No. 2 overall pick - likely a quarterback - is ready.
Eagles have been informed Sam Bradford wants to be traded and he will not be showing up for their off-season program any longer, per source.

Oh boy, former Chiefs coordinator and new Eagles coach Doug Pederson is really getting himself into something here. The Eagles have Bradford, Daniel and the No. 2 overall pick which will be a quarterback. That's a lot of quarterbacks!
What's interesting here is that Bradford's reported trade demand - if it comes through - could lead to Chase Daniel starting for the Eagles. I would love this. I really want to see Daniel be given a chance to start because I think he's better than many think. He would also be a good mentor ahead of the No. 2 overall pick (sounds like Carson Wentz). Plus, as our pal Herbie Teope points out, Chase knows the Eagles scheme right now with his Pederson experience.
But will the Eagles trade Bradford? They just re-did his contract so I don't know why they would. I do hope it happens though so Chase gets his shot.
