Gil Brandt ranks the NFL Draft's best players, Braxton Miller in the top 75

NFL.com's Gil Brandt put out his top 100 prospects list so it's time to mine this thing for some information on what The Godfather thinks about the 2016 NFL Draft.

How he ranks the top CBs

31. CB William Jackson III

35. S Karl Joseph

37. CB Eli Apple

38. CB Mackensie Alexander

48. S Vonn Bell

87. CB Xavien Howard

99. CB Artie Burns

Soooo these are pretty much universally lower than what I expected. No cornerbacks in the top 30 picks. Apple and Alexander BEHIND Jackson. Vonn Bell is often mocked to KC in the first round but sits at No. 48 on Brandt's list. Two other eye-openers: Howard is at 87 and Burns is at 99. They are not first round considerations if the Chiefs board looks like Brandt's. Considering Brandt is known as the Godfather, I imagine they're not that far off. Keep that in mind.

First round pass rusher?

66. DE Noah Spence

Whoa, that's really low. Opinions on Spence are all over the place. He was a standout at Ohio State before getting kicked out of the Big Ten and having to go to Eastern Kentucky where he put up a solid year. Many folks have him picked in the first round, often in the first half of the first round. This is way lower than most. The Chiefs spoke with him at the NFL Combine.

Braxton Miller way down here

75. WR Braxton Miller

He too has been all over the board. Some have him as an early second round pick. This 75 ranking suggests third round. Because he's a playmaker, I would not be surprised to see him outperform this 75 ranking and go earlier. He's a second or third round pick.
