It's a good time to be a Kansas City sports fan. The KC Chiefs are expected to be a playoff contending team while the KC Royals once again look like one of the best teams in baseball.
With the Chiefs schedule coming out I took a look at which games will conflict with the Royals down the stretch. There are a number of games where the times will conflict. If the Royals are in a pennant race, I won't knock anyone for watching the Royals over a Chiefs preseason game.
Unfortunately, the Chiefs first three regular season games will have direct Royals conflicts. Better fire up that two screen set up in your living room.
Sunday, October 2 is shaping up to be a fun day - if the Royals are in the playoffs. It's their final regular season game in the afternoon while the Chiefs visit the Steelers on NBC Sunday Night Football that evening.
