Chiefs 2016 strength of schedule puts them right in the middle of the NFL

UPDATEChiefs 2016 schedule here

The 2016 NFL schedule is coming out on Thursday evening which means we will find out the order of the Kansas City Chiefs games. We already know the Chiefs opponents and we already know the Chiefs strength of schedule.

Based on last year's records, the Chiefs strength of schedule is ranked 16th in the NFL. Smack dab in the middle of the league. The Chiefs have the "easiest" schedule in the AFC West with the Chiefs opponents having a combined .496 winning percentage. The Raiders, Chargers and Broncos have slightly tougher schedules.

The Chiefs strength of schedule at this time last year was seventh (as in they had the seventh hardest schedule). However, these are based on last year's records and we know so much changes in the NFL each year. There's always a team that goes from last in their division one year to first the next year. The playoffs also have about a 50 percent turnover rate. So, yeah, this is going to change.

The Falcons and 49ers have the toughest schedule; the Packers have the easiest.
