The 2016 NFL draft is only a few weeks away and now we know which players will be in attendance for the draft.
The NFL has 25 players there this year, which brings us the question: Is the Chiefs first round pick on this list?
The only cornerback of interest I see is Ohio State's Eli Apple. I don't see Houston's William Jackson III or Clemson's Mackensie Alexander. I do see Chiefs mock draft picks Chris Jones, Jarran Reed, Vernon Butler and A'Shawn Robinson -- all defensive linemen.
It would be cool to have the Chiefs first round pick there as Eric Fisher was a few years ago. Last year, however, Marcus Peters was not at the draft, so it's gone both ways in recent years.
