With the ninth pick in the 2016 Arrowhead Pride mock draft, Bucs GM ratley21 selects...
Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell
With DE Joey Bosa, DL DeForest Buckner and LB Myles Jack off the board, Tampa Bay will wait until rounds two or three to get defensive help in a deep draft and will now instead turn their attention to the offense.
With no reliable targets outside of Mike Evans and the injury prone Austin Seferian-Jenkins, the Bucs will look to give QB Jameis Winston more weapons. The WR group struggled last season with getting open and dropped passes while Vincent Jackson clearly showed signs of slowing down. Evans is a big deep threat WR and the Bucs desperately need a WR to help over the middle and short to intermediate routes.
Enter Laquon Treadwell.
Treadwell is not the fastest WR in this draft but he is considered by some to be the most polished WR. And he is one of the better blocking WR's also which will help with the running game as well. Look for Treadwell to come in and contribute right away on a young up and coming Buccaneers team.
