Kansas City Chiefs invite 18 local players to work out at their local pro day

The Kansas City Chiefs welcomed 18 players to their facility last Friday afternoon for the team's annual local pro day. The list of players working out are those who went to college in the area (like Avila) or those who went to high school in the area (like Blue Springs or Lee's Summit).

The list of players working out included Missouri C Evan Boehm, who his likely to be a mid round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. He's the name that stands out the most to on this list.

The local pro day invites these players in for a workout. It's a good chance for some players who may not get an opportunity like this to get in front of NFL evaluators.

"I saw guys who were competitive," Chiefs GM John Dorsey said per the Chiefs website. "They worked their fannies off. I think there are some draftable guys within this group, and so that's exciting from my standpoint."
