Kansas City Chiefs sign LB Jonathan Massaquoi

The Kansas City Chiefs are adding a pass rusher to the mix. Former Falcons and Titans LB Jonathan Massaquoi has inked a deal with the Chiefs, according to his agent.

He's been listed as a LB and DE but his size - 6'2 and 264 pounds - suggests a linebacker in the Chiefs 3-4 scheme. You can't ever have enough pass rushers and Massaquoi doesn't appear to be the expensive type so I can't complain about this move. Hope he turns into something as the Chiefs prepare to potentially lose reserve pass rusher Dezman Moses. I'm guessing Massaquoi won't have a big impact on Justin Houston, Tamba Hali and Dee Ford, who are the Chiefs top three pass rushers.

Massaquoi was a fifth round pick by the Falcons in the 2012 NFL Draft. He spent his first three years in Atlanta before joining the Titans last year. He didn't make it very far in Tennessee and was cut before the season. The last thing I see on him is a workout with the Broncos in December.
