Chiefs free agent Tyvon Branch gets 2-year deal from Cardinals

The Kansas City Chiefs are losing their free agents. After Jeff Allen joined the Houston Texans, safety Tyvon Branch is reportedly joining the Arizona Cardinals. This according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora.

Fox Sports' Mike Garafolo is reporting it's a two-year deal worth $10 million.

I did want Branch but I'm not that upset about this because the Chiefs have been very good at finding extra safeties off the street. Go back to Husain Abdullah, Quintin Demps, Kurt Coleman, Ron Parker (waiver wire) and now Branch ... the Chiefs have shown they can find safeties off the street. They'll need to do it again with Branch now leaving and Abdullah still a free agent.
