There will be no All-Schwartz offensive line in Kansas City this year. The Kansas City Chiefs did their part with one Schwartz in Mitch but the other one, Geoff, is going to the Detroit Lions. It's being reported that Geoff is joining the Lions on a one-year deal.

Geoff actually made some sense in KC outside of the whole All-Schwartz angle. The Chiefs have a number of guard options (as GM John Dorsey mentioned recently) but there are no sure things right now. The Chiefs also like those linemen that can play guard and tackle as Schwartz can. Ultimately though the Chiefs have a lot invested into their current guards so it's a very defensible move to stick with what they got.
