Mackensie Alexander lining up the draft visits

One cornerback potentially available at the Kansas City Chiefs 28th pick is Clemson's Mackensie Alexander. The 5'10 corner has been mentioned as a possible Chiefs pick because of his potential in the Chiefs system. The upside is his ability in man coverage while the downside is the lack of picks (none in two years).

So far, the Chiefs aren't one of the teams to meet with him (that we know of).

Alexander, Eli Apple, Xavien Howard, William Jacksno ... a few of the names that could be available at No. 28. This is still very early in the process where someone we're sure is a top 20 pick will fall to the second or third round and one of these players projected to go in the second will leap to the first. (Remember Geno Smith as a No. 1 overall pick? Yeah, things change)

One thing I love about him which we mentioned before is his personality. The dude looks like a lot of fun.

"I'm 22, but I'm ready to compete with anybody. There's nobody more dedicated than me, who's put more time in or is more of a competitor than me. ... I'm here prepared. I'm telling you I'm the best corner in this draft class," Alexander said at the Combine.

The Chiefs do like to meet with their top picks so if he's in consideration I suspect they would meet with him if he's in consideration but we may not necessarily confirm whether he visits or not.
