One Broncos pass rusher wants to be just like Derrick Thomas one day. The other Broncos pass rusher is getting Chiefs tattoos on his back. The former is Von Miller while the latter is Kansas City native Shane Ray.
Ray got this tattoo on his back and posted it on Instagram. The reaction from Broncos fans has been ... interesting. OK, it's been hilarious!
Shout out to @kattatgirl for killing my back piece. She took the idea I had for my city and finessed lol Everyone knows how I feel about being from Kansas City Mo and that's real pride. As always I represent "The Town" for everyone that is salty because I take pride in the city that made me who I am today, you weren't with me then and I won't bother me if your not there now #56nightscrazy #Kc #5️⃣⬆️ #KatTat
He can be a fan of whoever he wants to be a fan of. I don't mind that, especially because it's the Chiefs and, hey, we're a Chiefs blog. However, let's not overthink this one: DON'T GET A CHIEFS TATTOO WHILE YOU'RE PLAYING FOR THE BRONCOS.
I mean, I'm over here laughing because Broncos fans are tripping over themselves to say he's just repping his hometown and it's no big deal. Ya'll, he plays for the Broncos and has a Chiefs tattoo! He can be a fan of whoever he wants but that is crazy. Finish the tattoo after you're done playing. Get everything KC on there except the Chiefs tattoo. I'm honestly surprised this reaction isn't a lot worse.
Again, I'm all about repping KC. Few people rep it as often as I do. But not getting a Chiefs tattoo while playing for the Broncos is a good rule of thumb.
