The Kansas City Chiefs continue to whittle away at their own free agents. Per the KC Star's Terez Paylor, the Chiefs have re-signed CB Jamell Fleming to a new contract.
The #Chiefs have re-signed CB Jamell Fleming, a source tells me. Very good special teams contributor, defensive depth.

Fleming is a special teams contributor at this point. Luckily he's good at that because he had a rough stretch as a corner earlier this season. Fleming was targeted multiple times on the Broncos final drive in Week 2 at Arrowhead which led to Denver tying it late before they went on to win. The other memorable moment from Fleming's season was Danny Amendola's cheap shot on Fleming here.
Meanwhile, Fleming is yet another Chiefs free agent signed. According to my list, here are the remaining Chiefs free agents:
- DE Mike DeVito
- S Husain Abdullah
- WR Jason Avant
- LB Dezman Moses
