The long wait is finally here. This week there will actually be some official NFL business being conducted in the form of the annual NFL Combine.

The "Underwear Olympics" is an important event for several reasons. Head coaches and general managers will give press conferences to the media on Wednesday and Thursday (although the Chiefs will only make John Dorsey available, given Andy Reid's recent knee replacement surgery). Potential NFL players will be poked and prodded, interviewed and worked out. Agents and teams will begin to discuss important business.

The Denver Broncos already publicly said they'll open up negotiations with Brock Osweiler at the Combine, and you can believe every other team will conduct their own business even if they don't announce as much. The Chiefs have plenty of contract discussions to attend to, given the pending free agency of Eric Berry, Jeff Allen, Sean Smith, Derrick Johnson, Mike DeVito, Jaye Howard, Husain Abdullah and more.

It should also be noted that the Combine has helped two players climb draft boards in particular to reach the Chiefs roster. Last year, Chris Conley made waves with his incredible workout numbers to become a third round choice. And who can forget Dontari Poe's incredible Combine appearance, one which catapulted him into the top half of the first round.

Here's the complete schedule you can bookmark for who is arriving in Indianapolis and when as some of the best college football players in the country come together. Don't forget that you can watch the NFL Combine on live broadcast through most NFL properties: NFL.com, NFL Network and NFL mobile on Verizon.
