Andy Reid has knee replacement surgery

The Chiefs' players aren't the only ones nursing their way back to full strength this offseason.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Every NFL team will make several injury announcements throughout this offseason of particular players finally electing to endure specific surgeries and procedures to get healthy in time for the 2016 season. For the Kansas City Chiefs, the same thing applies to their head coach.

Andy Reid recently underwent knee replacement surgery and will miss upcoming NFL activities like the Combine, per Terez Paylor of the Kansas City Star.

It's a good time for Reid, who is 58-years-old, since he's separated himself from personnel decisions during his coaching tenure in Kansas City.
