Good start to the week for Jeremy Maclin, Phillip Gaines

I wouldn’t say the Kansas City Chiefs are in a good spot on the injury report because they’ve lost so many players this season. However, they are seeing a key player return to practice in Jeremy Maclin. There are signs that this is the week for Maclin to return for the first time in a month. He was limited in practice after practicing last week, too. It certainly appeared he would be playing last week in Atlanta but the Chiefs ended up keeping him home. Is this the week? Andy Reid said he wasn’t sure.

The other notable injury is Phillip Gaines, who missed last week’s game. It’s looking like the Chiefs could have him on Thursday night against the Raiders as he was a full participant in practice.

The Chiefs will get one more practice in today.

Limited practice

WR Jeremy Maclin (groin)

LB Tamba Hali (knee)

DT Dontari Poe (back)

DL Kendall Reyes (knee)

Full practice

CB Phillip Gaines (knee)
