Mitch Holthus calls Eric Berry’s pick-two, the Chiefs game winning interception

After Eric Berry picked off Matt Ryan at the goal line and brought it back for the game winning two-point conversion, I saw many Chiefs fans looking for the call of the play from Mitch Holthus. Greg Gumbel on the CBS broadcast was ... well, he wasn’t as excited as I would have preferred. He didn’t make it feel like one of the biggest plays in the NFL this season like it was.

Mitch Holthus, on the other hand, knew exactly how big this play was. His call of the play via Youtube user HurricaneShane is simply outstanding.

(If it’s not playing for you, you may have to watch it on Youtube)

Tevin Coleman is the running back ... Now Ryan will throw, IT’S INTERCEPTED! ... THIS COULD BE RETURNED FOR TWO! ... THIS COULD BE POINTS FOR KANSAS CITY! ... IT WOULD GIVE KANSAS CITY THE LEAD! ... ERIC BERRY ... 40 ... 30 ... 20 ... 15 ... 10 ... 5 ... It’s a two-point conversion the other way for Kansas City ... The first time in Chiefs history the Chiefs have pulled it off.
