Dontari Poe expected to face Falcons despite not practicing all week

I was almost sure that Dontari Poe wouldn’t be playing today for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Atlanta Falcons because he didn’t practice all week. It’s very rare for a player not to practice all week and still play under Andy Reid.

Yet here we are. NFL Network reporter Tiff Blackmon reports that Poe is indeed going to play.

He was one of five Chiefs questionable entering the game. This is a nice bonus for the Chiefs who also have defensive lineman Kendall Reyes listed as questionable. While the Chiefs are showing off their depth along the defensive line, I would rather have Poe than not.
